Bits, Bytes & Bots Computer Adventures
was founded in 2002 after Tom Marx's son had a disappointing
experience at a technology summer camp. He shared his
experiences with Tom, an entrepreneur who though the
idea had potential and that he could certainly do a
better job than what his son had described about the
other camp.
Tom's Bits, Bytes & Bots Computer
Adventures were an instant success! He was able to combine
his own passion for technology with his desire to see
his son get access to fun, quality technology education,
a combination that produced outstanding curriculum and
a program that kept kids coming back for more.

Now in its 5th season, the pilot Bits,
Bytes & Bots program in Boulder, CO is stronger
than ever. The program offers Lego® Mindstorm®
NXT robotics classes, stop-motion animated movie making,
and computer video game creation classes for children
ages 6-14, and will soon be expanding its offerings
for high schoolers. Children obtain a variety of technical
skills and build competence and confidence while having
a GREAT time during after school programs, private workshops,
birthday parties, and summer camp.
In addition, Bits, Bytes & Bots
is franchising to provide access to quality technology
education for children all over the nation and in select
international locations. The company now employs a full
time Curriculum Development Director to keep Bits, Bytes
& Bots' on the cutting edge of technology education.
In addition, franchisee relationship specialists ensure
consistency throughout the nation to give every child
an exciting, memorable experience.
Bits, Bytes & Bots cares about your
child's safety first and foremost. We employ the most
stringent national background checks before a potential
teacher is hired and continue to check on teachers throughout
their tenure with us. We hire the best teachers who
have experience with children, an aptitude for technology,
and who share our philosophy that the best way to learn
is through FUN!
